What is the Full Form of IBPS RRB?

IBPS RRB is the short term of IBPS Regional Rural Banks. IBPS conducts the IBPS RRB exam every year to fill the vacancies for Group “A”-Officers (Scale-I, II & III) and Group “B”-Office Assistant (Multipurpose) in various Regional Rural Banks (Gramin Banks).

The IBPS RRB online examination is conducted by the officials of the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS). IBPS RRB PO Nationality

A candidate must be:

  • A citizen of India, OR
  • A subject of Nepal or Bhutan, OR
  • A Tibetan refugee who came to India before January 1, 1962, OR
  • A person of Indian origin (PIO) who migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries (Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Zambia, etc.) with the intention of permanently settling in India.

  • For Officer Scale- I- Candidates should be above 18 years and below 30 years.
  • For Officer Scale-II- Candidates should be above 21 years and below 32 years.
  • For Officer Scale- III- Candidates should be above 21 years and below 40 years.

IBPS RRB Officer Scale (PO) Exam Pattern

The IBPS RRB PO Exam 2026 is conducted by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) to recruit Probationary Officers (Officer Scale-I, II & III) in Regional Rural Banks (RRBs) across India.
