Computer-Based Aptitude Test (CBAT)

The Computer-Based Aptitude Test (CBAT) is the third stage of RRB ASM recruitment, conducted only for candidates who qualify CBT 2. Stage 4: Document Verification / Medical Test

The Document Verification (DV) and Medical Test is the final stage of the RRB ASM recruitment process. Candidates who qualify the CBAT are called for this stage. It ensures that only eligible and medically fit candidates are appointed as Assistant Station Masters.

Document Verification (DV):

• Candidates must produce original documents along with self-attested photocopies.
• Documents include educational certificates, caste/category certificates (if applicable), identity proof, domicile, and other required records.
• Failure to produce valid documents may lead to disqualification.

Medical Test:

• Conducted by authorized Railway Medical Officers.
• Candidates are tested for A-2 medical standard, which is mandatory for ASM posts.
• Vision test (near and distant), color vision, hearing ability, and overall physical fitness are examined.
• Candidates must be free from any condition that may hinder their duties as Station Masters.
