SSC CGL Nationality

Candidates applying for SSC CGL must be a resident of Indian territory with a valid ID proof to substantiate it. However, following candidates are also eligible to apply:

• Tibetan refugee who moved to India before 1962, to settle down permanently in India
• A person of India origin who has moved from Pakistan, Burma, Uganda, Tanzania, Kenya, Sri Lanka, Zambia, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with intention of settling down permanently in India
• The subject of Nepal or Bhutan

SSC CGL Tier 2 Result 2025‑26 Out with Cut‑Off Marks

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has declared the SSC CGL Tier 2 Result 2025‑26 on 8 April 2026 on its official website ssc.gov.in, for the exam conducted on 18th and 19th January 2026. Along with the result, SSC has released the official cut‑off marks and merit list in PDF format, showing the minimum qualifying scores category‑wise for various posts like Junior Statistical Officer and Statistical Investigator Grade‑II. Candidates can download the Tier‑2 result and cut‑off PDF to check their selection status.

SSC CGL Final Result 2026 Statistics

In the final results of SSC CGL 2026, 15,118 candidates have been provisionally shortlisted against an equal number of vacancies. The key category-wise allocation comprises 6,458 Unreserved, 3,832 OBC, 2,221 SC, 1,475 EWS, and 1,132 ST candidates. Eligible candidates will now proceed to the final sliding process and document verification.

SSC CGL Result & Cut-Off 2025 Out

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) released the SSC CGL Tier 1 Result 2025 along with the post-wise and category-wise cut-off marks on 18 December 2025. These cut-off marks determine the minimum score required for candidates to qualify for the next stage of the recruitment process. Those who meet or exceed the prescribed cut-off have been shortlisted for the SSC CGL Tier 2 Examination.

The SSC has also issued a revised SSC CGL Tier 1 cut-off on 14 January 2026, providing updated benchmarks for qualification.
